Biography

I recently completed my MA in Clinical Psychology at Ferdowsi

University of Mashhad. My thesis—Investigating the Relationship

Between Vicarious Trauma and Dissociative Experiences with

the Mediating Role of Job Burnout in Therapists—used structural

equation modeling (AMOS) and reflects my core interests in trauma,

dissociation, and clinician wellbeing.

My clinical training includes Clinical Hypnosis, Ego State Therapy

(EST), and Transactional Analysis–Psychotherapy. I assist Dr.

Woltemade Hartman internationally in EST training and have

extensive experience translating and facilitating psychotherapy

workshops (English ↔ Persian), including for Onlinevents.co. I

also organize trauma- and TA-focused workshops in Iran, with an

emphasis on cross-cultural adaptation of psychological concepts.

I’m currently seeking fully funded PhD/Doctoral Researcher

opportunities in Germany that align with my research areas: trauma

and dissociation, vicarious trauma, burnout, and relational/ego-

state-based psychotherapy. I’m open to collaboration, teaching, and

research roles connected to these themes.

Organizing and facilitating Supervision Groups for Iranians

TA qualifications and supervision webinars

We are planning to offer a series of webinars beginning in June 2025 that

will support the participants with obtaining TA qualifications if they wish, as

well as providing opportunities for people to get TA supervision from Julie

Hay. Julie holds each of the TA qualifications that are recognised by the

International TA Association (ITAA) and she also established and leads the

Page 1 of 9International Centre for TA Qualifications (ICTAQ). Although the ITAA only

runs one qualification that takes several years to obtain, ICTAQ divides it

into three different levels that can each be obtained in about a year - TA

Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner and Master Practitioner.

In these 4-hour sessions, we expect to have time for at least three participants

to have supervision. Each supervision will be followed by the group of

observers reviewing the supervision process – not the content - so you do

not get to tell your colleague what you would have done - instead you get

to analyse and give feedback to Julie Hay about how she was behaving

as the supervisor. This is a great way to build up your skills of applying TA

concepts. You will also hear each case which is brought for supervision and

what possible options are identified for using with clients.

Group Facilitator- TA in Iran

March 2021 - Present (4 years 8 months)

Online

Since the beginning of the year 1400 in the Persian calendar (March 2021),

this group has been managed by Ashkan Anbarzadeh and accompanied by

a number of students interested in the transactional analysis approach. The

initial main goals of the group included the following, and over time, members

have been divided into specific subgroups:

Page 2 of 91. Attending general and specialized transactional analysis courses, if

possible, with official instructors in areas of interest for each member, including

psychotherapy, counseling, educational and training, coaching/organizational,

etc., along with watching free and accessible webinars (including YouTube

channels of official institutions).

2. Conducting research related to transactional analysis, becoming familiar

with specialized research journals on transactional analysis, and learning

about existing research tools.

3. Studying and translating articles published in journals (either fully or

in summary) and creating content with precise references/summaries of

articles on the Taresearch website. This effort was initially started by Ashkan

Anbarzadeh, and over time, group members began translating previous issues

of the journal.

4. Studying and translating general and specialized books on transactional

analysis.

5. Establishing connections with the community of learners and instructors of

transactional analysis worldwide online.

6. Creating empathy and "Ok-Ok" relationships.
