Biography

Neurologist (formation 1995/2000), trained at UCL Brussels, specialising in the field of neurophysiology and coma awakening, I had the chance to meet Professor Guerit (Brussel) and later Professor Warter (Strasbourg) who allowed me to expand my knowledge in neurophysiological mechanisms.

In this time, I published :

-2000 Geneva Electromyography Congress: Poster on the "application of long latency reflexes to the study of focal dystonia" (C. MICHEL, C. GUIRAUD - CHAUMEIL, C. TRANCHANT);

-1998 Journal "Clinical Neurophysiology" 1998; Flight 28 (343-359): "Prediction using the evoked endogenous and exogenous potentials of the favourable evolution of a prolonged coma." (C. MICHEL, S. DENISON, C. MINNE, J.-M. GUERIT); and 2000 French-language Neurophysiology Society Award for best article in the journal "Clinical Neurophysiology" in 1998; Flight 28 (343 - 359).

Of a purely scientific mind, my medical trajectory has taken an important turn in 2009 with Dr. Bellet who was a source of inspiration in hypnosis, experimenting with the notion of therapeutic doubt and serendipity. (2017 University Diploma "Hypnosis and Pain Management" University of Strasbourg).

Since then, through various encounters like the one with Teresa Robles, my medical practice is articulated under two pillars: one foot in science and one foot in hypnosis.

Yes, my first training in hypnosis was done by Dr. Patrick Bellet at the Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg. Subsequently, at the Salpetrière University in Paris under the direction of Dr. JM Benhaiem, I will have the pleasure of benefiting from the teachings of François Roustang.

In 2012, I wrote an article in the Review Hypnosis and Brief Therapy; (February 2012; No.24)with de title : « Blepharospasm and butterfly effect » (C. MICHEL), that already expresses this link between neurology and hypnosis, science and therapeutic doubt

After one year of rest, I completed hypnosis training and brief therapy formation in the Prisme team, under the direction of Barbara Briqmane at Charleroi in Belgium.

It is within this school that I will have the chance to meet Teresa ROBLES, Roxanna ERICKSON, Evelyne JOSSE, Dr Elise LELARGE, Dr Isabelle PREVOT-STIMEC, Dan SHORT, Dr Thierry SERVILLAT...

In recent years, we can still cite :
